Full-Stack Software Developer

About Me

I am a former inventory specialist and customer service expert with a passion for computer science. While attending Central Michigan University, I initially pursued a cognitive science major which included courses in Java, discrete mathematics, and logic. Unfortunately the cognitive science program was phased out before my graduation (it's a bit of a long story, so ask me in person and I'd love to elaborate!). In the twilight-zone episode that was 2020, I decided to revisit programming and began an online course for web development. Not too long after, I was accepted into Nashville Software School's Web Development Bootcamp.

Software development allows me to be creative, logical, and produce something tangible out of nothing. I enjoy the constant learning and growth that comes with programming. From the despair of failure, to the euphoria of accomplishment, so many of the lessons I learn in software development can be applied to all facets of my life, and geninuley give me the ability to be a better person.
